Plan 9010Building in Metric
Metric construction is more than just a change in measurement system. It means building to certain modular metric dimensions (1200 mm and major fractions and multiples), using standard metric-sized building components - doors, studs, rafters, blocks or brick, and sheet products such as plywood, gypsum board or sheet steel. This leaflet lists the guidelines for working in metric and reviews important metric terminology.
