Heap Silos

This leaflet is based on the extensive heap silo research carried out at La Pocatiè by Mr. Eric Comeau and applied by Dr. Julien Proulx and Mr. Jean-Marie Wauthy of Kapuskasing. The leaflet outlines the steps to be followed for: selecting a heap location, making preparations, starting and continuing the heap, closing and sealing the heap silo, silage removal and other related topics.
