Western Feedlot for Diagonal Slope

This is a plan for a dryland beef feedlot, expandable in two directions in lots of 100 cattle. Mostly unpaved, the plan is for regions where annual precipitation is less that 50 cm (20 inches). Each lot is about 45 x 63 m (150 x 200 ft). This plan illustrates a list of good ideas and sound feedlot management principles collected from successful western feedlot operators and experienced advisors.
